Montezuma Cross Country is Making History

At the English Valleys cross country meet, the MXC high school girls team definitely turned back time for homecoming week. They won their first meet as a team in the first time in 30 years! This means that it is also the first EVER team win since the race distance changed to a 5K. Four of the high school girls placed low enough to earn medals: Elise Boulton, MJ Johannes, Mia Boulton, and Beka Teumer.

The high school girls got many shoutouts following the meet, as they deserve! It should also be pointed out that, unofficially, both the girls and boys junior high runners also won as teams at the same meet.
